Instrument and Electrical Technician - (Port St Lucie, FL)

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician to join our team! You will maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical equipment, PLC’s and DCS control system in a continuously operated chemical plant.Responsibilities: Assist in root cause failure analysis of equipment. Assist in repair work performed by contractors when necessary. Tune controllers. Repair and maintain switchgear. Size and install electrical wire. Capable of installing, troubleshooting, and repairing control components, motor circuits, building and lighting circuits, and control circuits. Document repairs as appropriate for RMP. Able to respond to after hour call outs. Must have personal set of tools appropriate for position. Strong communication and interaction skills with all others. Operate a man lift and fork lift. Assist other in troubleshooting. Maintain excellent records. *Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
