General Summary: Under the general supervision of the Manager-Security Operations and the Security Supervisors, provides a safe and secure environment for, and responds to the needs of patients, employees, visitors and other customers of the System. Protects System buildings, assets and premises as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: The following are essential job accountabilities: one Patrols buildings and premises to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and intrusion. Patrols parking lots to ensure the safety of individuals and the security of parked vehicles. Reports all suspicious activity, parking violations and abandoned vehicles. two Responds to emergency situations such as accidents and injuries, fire alarms, crimes in progress and safety hazards. Provides assistance, summons proper authorities and polices area to maintain order, safety and to protect property.
