Managing Editor of the Gettysburg Review Gettysburg College invites applications for the position ofManaging Editor of The Gettysburg Review, the College'saward-winning national quarterly literary journal. The ManagingEditor is responsible for all aspects of the journal's production,including creation of a production schedule, manuscriptpreparation, copyediting, author negotiations, and coordinationwith printer and other vendors. Additional duties includebudget management, acquisition and administration of grants,marketing and promotion, supervision of student workers andinterns, office management, and other tasks as assigned by theEditor. The successful applicant will have 2 to 3 years experiencein publishing and 1 to 3 years background in copyediting andproofreading. The applicant should possess at least a BA degree,preferably also an MA or MFA.
