Process Engineering Section Manager - (Mountain Top, PA)

Job overview: As a Process Engineering Section Leader at ON Semiconductor, you will lead a team of Process Engineers responsible for 24x7 manufacturing of wafers used in Automotive and Consumer applications throughout the world. In this team based environment, you will collaborate together with the Maintenance, Device, and Design organizations to provide robust, quality products to our customers on time at a competitive cost. Performance Objectives: In this role, you will have an opportunity to: * Lead a team of engineers in a quick paced manufacturing environment. * Collaborate with domestic and international counterparts to benchmark and implement best known process practices to improve overall site performance. * Support or lead new product development or cross-site product transfer activities. Within the 1st 2 months: * Determine the most significant improvement activities with respect to yield, cost, and equipment performance.
