Childcare Instructor - (Wilton, CT)

Childcare Instructor Extended Day Programs Hours are 7:00-9:00 am and/or 1:15-6:30 pm POSITION OVERVIEW: To ensure quality care for each child enrolled in WCE Extended Day Program, while planning and implementing engaging, ageappropriate, and relevant activities that support program goals. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: College diploma. Background/education working with children. Background planning and organizing child related educational or recreational activities. Background utilizing technology including PC computers/laptops, Smart Boards, iPads, Surface Tablets for streaming educational on-line videos, researching, downloading and supervising use of educational apps, assisting in homework time, and supervising Technology Lab activities. Demonstrated management abilities including: organizational, administration and people skills. Computer background required: Gmail, Outlook, Ms word, Ms excel, and expertise to learn established office technology systems including WCE Website.
