Library Associate Erlanger Branch 2019 - (Erlanger, KY)

The Library Associate position is a customer service position designed to adequately meet the needs of the library's customers. Library Associates are assigned to a specific location but are cross-trained and expected to work in any Kenton County Public Library public service department or location based on the library's staffing needs. Temporary assignments may occur in the case of staff shortages or leaves of absences. When possible, every effort will be made to give staff notice when being asked to work in or be temporarily assigned to a different location. Hours are varied, and evening and weekend work is required. Responsibilities: Provide patrons of all ages with basic circulation, reference and readers advisory at all service points including the drive-thru window. Process library card applications and inform new card holders of basic library benefits/services. Respond to patron requests for info, assistance in using resources, locating materials, and equipment use.
