Part Time Medical Assistant - Aultman, Nights - (Akron, OH)

Shift Details: Day Job11p-7a, 4 days with every other wknd/holPosition Description: Assists in delivering individual care for a group of patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Assists in patient / family education with in their own capabilities and under the direction of a licensed nurse. Part-time position: four days/wkHours: 11p-7a Every other weekend/holiday Will train on 1st shiftPosition Requirements:Must be a High-school Graduate or equivalent. Must have basic verbal and written correspondence abilities and have completed a state approved Medical Assistant Program. Current Health Care Provider BLS training is required. American Heart Association (AHA) is the organization designated for BLS, ACLS, PEARS and PALS - for clarification see Department of Nursing Training Requirements for CPR and Resuscitation policy. Phlebotomy experience preferred, or able to successfully complete Phlebotomy training within the 1st 45 days of employment. Medical terminology and technical skills required.
