Head Surgery Technician REACH Veterinary Specialists, located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, is seeking a head surgery technician. The successful applicant will have prior applicable background, advanced technical and management skills, leadership capabilities and be a positive-minded team member. Assignments include but are not limited to: Performs anesthetic monitoring including intubation and extubation of patients and patient recovery Assists DVM in surgery using sterile technique Accurately takes multiple types of radiographs, places IV catheters and administers medications and treatments Assists DVM in appointments and communicates with clients in a professional and efficient manner Responsible for supervising, coaching, teaching and developing newer technicians regarding excellent patient care and technical procedures
