The Position Unemployment Insurance Representatives perform a broad variety of activities related to the timely and accurate processing and payment of unemployment insurance benefit claims. Unemployment Insurance Representative III's supervise a team of claims examiners in an unemployment insurance operation center OR adjudicate unemployment insurance claims issues concerning eligibility to receive benefits or tax rulings for base period employers. This position interviews claimants, employers and any 3rd party necessary to obtain required facts and details; applies appropriate sections of State laws and regulations, administrative policies and procedures; interprets and explains laws, procedures, policies and requirements to unemployment insurance claimants and employers.
