JOB TITLE LTC Senior Claims Representative-OE POSITION LOCATION Lynchburg VA YOUR ROLE This position is accountable for ensuring claims handling follows policy provisions, internal guidelines, and Compliance requirements and responsible for the processing and payment of long-term care claims. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES The lead point of contact for the Insured or their legal representative, to provide the status of the eligibility review and set expectations as well as answer general status or payment questions Make claim payments based on the claimant's contract and other details provided at initial time of claim or ongoing payments through the claims lifecycle as well as determining need for additional details to properly determine risk Effectively manage and prioritize a work queue and multiple job duties in a fast-paced environment, frequently with tight deadlines Responsible for incoming and outgoing calls to claimants, caregivers
