Sr. Clinical Lab Scientist Specialist - (Westwood, CA)

Responsibilities Under the general supervision of a Senior Supervisor Clinical Laboratory Technologist and/or Director, perform independently a wide variety of duties in Microbiology. These duties include technical review of all procedures, coordination of quality control and quality assurance activities, investigation/development of new/modified procedures. Coordinate review of reported results, competency assessment and proficiency testing. Serve as the liaison between the laboratory and infection control and the infectious disease pharmacist. In addition, coordinate safety, competency, and quality assurance and educational programs for the Brentwood Annex. Requirements The following are required: Current California Clinical Lab Scientist license. Must have 4 years recent work background and technical knowledge of microbial methodologies including PCR and other molecular techniques.
