Summary of Work Lead, manage, and coordinate right of way plat development on a statewide basis for use in acquisition and relinquishment of highway lands. Oversee the creation of right of way plats, legal land descriptions, land title research, and maintain right of way plat GIS database: Supervise and Provide Leadership for the Right of Way Plat Staff: This task is required to administer the work for right of way plats. 1) Identify project requirements and develop priorities for all right of way plat projects. 2) Supervise and evaluate employee performance. 3) Provide leadership, discipline, training and guidance to employees. 4) Ensure activities comply with department policy, procedures, and standards. 5) Provide guidance and direction to staff members on resolution of complex problems. 6) Interview candidates for right of way plat positions and make recommendations on selecting a candidate. 7) Provide input into Division's budget.
