Research Analyst, Principal - (Boise, ID)

Description The Division of Public Health has an opening for a Research Analyst, Principal, in our Health Statistics Unit at Central Office in Boise. This position will plan and direct the implementation, and development of the Division's Idaho Violent Death Reporting System (IdVDRS) program. The IdVDRS will collect data from Idaho county coroners, law enforcement, and vital death records to inform stakeholders and the public to improve planning, implementation, and evaluation of violence prevention policies and programs. The incumbent will identify areas of research and make recommendations to management regarding these projects. They will design the research methods, establish procedures to assure the quality of the data, and approve the results of the projects.
