Gene Therapy - Principal Research Associate, Cell Line Engineering- - (Framingham, MA)

Key Accountabilities Under minimal supervision, responsible for vector construction, cell line generation and evaluation of viral vector producer and packaging cell lines Contribute to new cell line technology evaluations to increase viral vector productivity and quality Perform data analyses, contribute to technical reports, protocols and internal/external presentations Represent Cell Line Engineering at inter-departmental meetings and work streams Develop, maintain and demonstrate advanced knowledge of principals and techniques in targeted mammalian producer cell design Stay updated on new, relevant technologies and published literature to drive innovation within the group Mentor and support junior staff as needed Willingness to work in a Biosafety Level two environment Occasional weekend and holiday work to support ongoing lab activities Education/Background BS in biological sciences or related position and four to 6yrs of relevant background Or MS in biological sciences and two to four years of relevant
