Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Lead and direct the vector construction, cell line generation and evaluation of viral vector producer and packaging cell lines Drive cell line technology evaluations to increase viral vector productivity and quality Collaborate with both internal cell line development groups (traditional non-viral biologics) and external work-benches Communicate cell line engineering strategies across multiple levels of the organization including providing concise status reports and internal/external presentations Represent Cell Line Engineering at inter-departmental meetings and work streams Demonstrate advanced ability in principals and techniques in targeted mammalian producer cell design to enable innovative solutions for productivity improvements Well versed and current on new, relevant technologies and published literature to drive innovation within the group Directly supervise a small
