General Maintenance Technician - (La Crosse, WI)

Viterbo University invites applications for a General Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, modifying and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems at the university by performing the following duties: Repairs and maintains building grounds and physical structures of the university. Sets up and operates basic machine and power tools such as grinder, drill, table saw, hand saw to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools. Installs and repairs electrical components such as outlets, switches, lights, ballasts and wiring. Minor electrical repairs to electronic components of machinery and equipment. Installs and repairs plumbing components such as toilets, sinks, faucets, shower heads, valves, joints and pipe. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery and equipment.
