Software Engineer/ Controls Logic Designe - (Rockford, IL)

My client is looking for a Software Engineer/ Controls Logic Designer for their location in Rockford, IL. This is a Permanent Position Requirements Must be a self-starter who can perform assigned tasks with little supervision. Must have demonstrated expertise to develop complex new designs, which advance the level of technology. The expertise to work well with others in a team environment is required. A good knowledge of machine tool types, their function and typical machining process is required. An expertise to work to a schedule and budget is required. Should have strong mathematical skills, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus/analytic geometry. Must have demonstrated understanding of complex control system architectures and CNC motion control systems. An expertise to analyze the software requirements of complex control systems. Must have background with PLC languages, Ladder, STL, AWL. Background with Siemens CNC 840D/Step 7 Plc and Fanuc 30i is considered a plus.
