Food Plant Production Workers (2:00pm to 10:00pm) - (Melrose Park, IL)

Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing with over 40 plants in the United States and Canada, We are helping recruit several plant workers for their Melrose Park facility Plant which is part of their Meat division and has 170+ employees. This Unionized site is located at growing operations and investing capital on improvement projects. They are looking for applicants for the second shift with hours from 2:00pm to 10:20pm. Applicants must be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedly, able to climb ladders throughout the day and stand for extended periods of time. You have your high-school certificate or GED. Expertise to perform these operations manually or with a calculator. Requirements: 1 to three years related skills in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Job assignments: Verify production run matches schedule (e.g., labels, packaging, etc.). Pick and prepare raw materials for use.
