Job overview The Buyer shall perform assignments related to the procurement of Indirect Goods and Services & Capex Projects for Company's West Coast chemical plants. The position will have responsibility for (3) plant sites & oversee (1) Procurement Representative. The Buyer shall work with multiple disciplinary teams (maintenance, project management, project engineering, legal, finance, etc.) to deliver an optimized solution from a cost and risk standpoint to the manufacturing plants and project engineering team. The individual must be self-motivated and have effective communication expertise, good knowledge of industrial plant equipment and the chemical industry, strong negotiation skills and the expertise to collaborate together with others.
