Position details Combi Oven BU - Mechanical Engineer Position title & Reporting: Mechanical Designer, Reports to the General Manager Location: ITW Technology Center – 401 W. Market St., Troy, Ohio Job Purpose: Within our US-based technology development center, you will be responsible for the design of machines, mechanisms and optional features for new and existing products, providing layouts reflecting concern for function, costs, manufacturability and quality. Requirements and Background: · BS/MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering · Requires at least 5 yrs of background in mechanical design proficient in sheet metal structural design and forming. · Proficient in Solid Works Application, Pro E. · Create and complete designs as assigned in 2D and 3D · Proficient in 2D and 3D drafting standards · Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication expertise. · Understanding and implementation of fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
