Land Surveyor - (Korbel, CA)

POSITION PURPOSE: This position manages and documents the surveying of all company lands and property boundaries for the California Timberlands to ensure timely and uninterrupted timber harvesting operations. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that all property lines are accurately identified in the field and property documented in the official county records. It is expected that all work performed meets both State and Federal survey standards and legal qualifications. CRITICAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned) Surveys, monuments, and delineates company property boundaries. Assures that encumbrances affecting company properties are accurately identified and documented. Provides technical knowledge and ability to legal counsel as required. Maintains ongoing communication and strong internal working relationships with timberlands managers and superintendents, various local agencies to include U.S.
