Fiber-Optic Assembler - (Marlborough, MA)

IPG's Medical Products Group is focused on developing next-generation medical products based on IPG's state-of-the-art lasers. The Assembler is responsible for assisting with assembly, testing and research of fiber-optic medical products and prototypes for IPG medical laser systems. Duties: Assist with the following duties under direct supervision of IPG Medical production and research personnel: Inspect, kit, install, and assemble components of fiber-optic medical products: optical fibers, ferrules, connectors, packaging components Operate manufacturing test equipment: fiber-optic strippers and cleavers, power meters, laser test stations, RFID readers, microscopes Use bonding materials: epoxies, glues, etc.
