Job details: The Environmental Service Assistant (Housekeeper) performs cleaning functions in various areas of the hospital. Maintains these areas in a clean and orderly fashion in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and foremost to provide an environment conducive to patient recovery.Education: High-school or GED preferred. Background: Not required. Special requirements: Requires operation of mechanical equipment such as vacuums. Visual acuity to detail cleanliness. Reasoning expertise as employees must use self-judgment in changing sequence of areas cleaned to meet needs of unit or area.
