Process control engineer - (Smithfield, PA)

This position is responsible for the PGM coating of diesel and gasoline catalysts and filters on each line shift in Smithfield, PA. The incumbent is responsible for the immediate actions required to set up, monitor and trouble shoot the equipment associated with the manufacturing of diesel or gasoline catalysts as well as monitoring and controlling the production process. The Process Control Engineer coordinates with the Shift Supervisor the activities of the following hourly employees assigned to the manufacturing line in order to ensure timely system changeovers, high health and safety standards, and proper raw material qualifications to meet the production schedule, while attaining optimal productivity and quality. Required responsibilities Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental & health and safety regulations and company policies. Ensure the effective utilization of up to 250,000 troy ounces of precious metal / year.
