Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Cancer-focused Genetic Counselor to add to our Cancer Genetics team of 1 Licensed Genetic Counselor and 2 board-certified Medical Geneticists. The Genetic Counselor , in collaboration with the Medical Director, provides genetic risk evaluation to patients, their at risk relatives, and concerned consumers; creates and promotes identification strategies utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach; develops education and screening programs promoting emotional and physical wellness; and coordinates and participates in research protocols.
