The chosen applicant will be awarded academic appointment commensurate with background and credentials in the UTRGV School of Medicine. This position is specifically responsible for improving clinical outcome and treatment effectiveness and increasing overall cost-effectiveness of care. Individual awarded this position will provide leadership for the Hospital's entire patient care activities. Inclusive of Philosophy of Care, Quality Management, Educational Programming, Research and Development and Community Relations, serve on the Hospital's governing Board.
