Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:The Quality Assurance Tester is responsible for creating and executing test cases for a broad spectrum of MI products introduced by inMusic Brand’s internal development teams. The ideal tester brings a keen troubleshooting mind, knowledge of various communication protocols (i.e., MIDI, Serial, TCP/IP, etc.), and a general love for audio, production, and performance. The tester should also possess superior written and oral communication expertise, and the expertise to operate independently or in a collaborative setting.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Execute detailed test plans for new products Maintain documentation and status for encountered issues Maintain software support for existing products Maintain testing status/progress in a standard Bug tracking environment Advise approval of hardware, software, and firmware components prior to public release Create FAQ, release note
