Job summary JOB PURPOSE The Manufacturing Junior Buyer plays a key role in our manufacturing organization. This position mandates exceptional organizational, analytical, and analytical skills. The expertise to multitask, prioritizes, and communicates effectively in written and verbal formats are required. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manages inventory stock levels in order to meet production demand Assisting in writing Purchase Orders and following up with proper shipping schedules with vendor Assist in supplier/accounting issues Providing updates to manager as needed Assist in building/sustaining vendor relationships Assist in finding new suppliers/vendors Arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required Coordinates with other departments to overcome or prevent shortfalls Performs other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS Qualifications include: Associate’s Degree Preferred 2yrs’ background in a procurement role Preferred background with Netsuite, SAP, Ms excel
