Big Data Architect needs Bachelors degree in Computer Science preferred 10+ years background in the area of data management, modeling, data analysis, and/or reporting. Big Data Architect requires: Strong technical documentation and technical writing expertise Prior background with financial services, retirement, insurance, or medical records industry highly desirable. Background leading data, reporting, and analytic solutions with demonstrated exposure to platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, SQL. Data Architecture, Data Warehousing. Big Data Architect duties; As a Big Data Architect, work with business and technology members to define details needs and architect solutions in the form of a Data Engineering Solution that supports desired business and technical capabilities / qualifications.
