Associate Drafter - (Novi, MI)

Position overview: We have an opportunity for a Associate Drafter in our Novi, MI office. The successful applicant will perform various CAD functions using AutoCAD and MicroStation software. Background in electrical services is preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Collaborate closely with multiple engineers and designers to perform drafting of accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects including: a. Protection and Controls: One-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, SCADA and communication drawings, panel front views and cabinet layouts, wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams, A/C/DC station service drawings, and other drawings as required. b. Physical Electrical: General arrangements, plan and elevation layouts for conduit and troughing, control building layouts and elevations, grounding plans and information, raceway plans and information, equipment vendor files, structural/electrical info, and other drawings as required.
