Production Engineer (Chemicals)Our client is seeking Production Engineers for its Emulsion Plant at their state of the art facility located in the Baton Rouge area. The position will report to the Operations Superintendent and provide technical leadership to their assigned unit. This position is responsible for all technical aspects of assigned Emulsion lines and associated equipment. This includes continual improvement in all key performance indicators. This position will collaborate together with the Shift Supervisors and the Maintenance/Engineering department.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Maintain and monitor daily production and quality metrics as well as operation log books to insure optimal unit operation and accurate reporting• Continually optimize production operations to maximize the Efficiency and On-Stream-Time of the manufacturing equipment• Lead safety training, conduct behavior based safety audits
