ATSS Engineering has a client looking for a Production Planner for a temp to permanent position in Mobile, AL.SUMMARY: Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products by performing the following duties. Has indirect supervisory responsibilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.Reviews orders and schedules production to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and timeline for delivery to meet demand.Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure productionand quality of products meets internal and external customer qualifications and expectations.Systematically adjust lead times and safety stock levels and qualifications based on business needs.Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules
