Systems Administrator - (Batavia, IL)
Summary: The Systems Administrator is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining the PC network and communications system. This employee is responsible for all Suncast PCs, including software and hardware. The communications system includes all telephones, internet connections, and email. Job responsiblities include, but are not limited to: - Develop a plan for computer hardware and software purchases; being mindful of the budget and able to present infront of management. - Organize and verify software licensing. - Ensure network security. - Purchase and install computer equipment and software. - Assist users with network and PC related problems. - Establish and maintain FTP and VPN network service. - Install/maintain WAN links to other locations. - Establish and maintain a data back-up program. Ensure all network stored data is backed up according to the plan. Supervisory responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory reponsibilities, however, it is a leadership position.
