Position title: Lean Engineer Date: 06/14/2016 New/Revised: Revised Supersedes: N/A Job Code: 101116 FLSA Exemption: Reports To: Grade: Role Summary: The Lean Engineer will be responsible for assisting facilities in North and South America in the development and execution of their Operational Excellence program, focusing on the use of the Columbus McKinnon Lean Business System tools to achieve annual Operational Excellence objectives. This position will assist the Corporate Director of Quality and Lean in the development and maintenance of the Columbus McKinnon Lean Business System and the Operational Excellence project tracking and financial results reporting system. Key Accountabilities: Perform and assist with lean facility audits utilizing the Columbus McKinnon Lean Business System (CMCO LBS) audit tool focusing on Associate Involvement, Operational Effectiveness, Continuous Flow, Supply Chain Material Flow, Workplace Organization and Safety.
