Truck Shop Technician - (Harrisburg, PA)

Four / Ten- Hour Shifts (2nd Shift) Position assignments: Experienced diesel mechanic with current expertise to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment as it relates to the trucking industry. Qualifications: The successful applicant must have: - Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing - Must sign all documentation to meet DOT regulations and company qualifications As a Technician you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes exposure to significant environmental conditions. Physical demands include: - Independently and successfully repair, rebuild, and maintain various brands of truck and truck engines in various environmental and work conditions - Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching - Work overtime as required - Willing to learn and expand skill set - The successful applicant must also have good human relation skills and abilities and the personality to successfully communicate and problem solve with customers
