Software Engineer - (Fulton, MD)

JOB DETAILS: As a Developer, the applicant will work with data and produce reports and data sets. They will create code for customized business applications to receive database details and create output reports. Background in .net, Visual Basic and SQL is required to update and translate the data coding system for upcoming changes in industry coding. The applicant will run production reports and communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Upgrade and convert existing coding systems to upcoming mandated systems. Produce procedural documentation as required. Maintains integrity of program logic and coding, and establishes required checks and balances for operational controls. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of computer operating procedures and operating standards. Sits for extended periods of time. Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
