-- Partners for Peace, the domestic violence resource center serving Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties, invites applications for the following position: Legal Advocate Candidates should enjoy working independently in a friendly, fast-paced setting, and have a strong commitment to ending domestic abuse. The successful candidates will be able to work efficiently with a diverse group of staff and a changing resident population. The applicant should also demonstrate excellent organizational and communication expertise. --Prior background working with people affected by abuse and with consensus decision-making is a plus.-- All staff participate in crisis intervention, advocacy and community response work. This position is a full time position with a starting salary of $30,867 per year plus great benefits.
