THE VILLAGE OF COLD SPRING, PUTNAM COUNTY,NY, IS SEEKING QUALIFIED APPLICANTS FOR CHIEF OPERATOR OF ITS WATER/WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITIES. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Highly important administrative and technical position that has responsibility for long range planning; directing all operations of municipal water treatment, storage and distribution and wastewater collection and treatment. Includes overseeing conceptualization, design and construction of multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects. Responsible for supervision and direction of all personnel for the departments in day to day activities. Additionally, the expertise to assess and coordinate emergency response to system and/or customer issues is important.
