Min Requirements Graduation from an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program and current licensure to practice from any U.S. state with a min of 2 years practice. Registration with Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification with American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) preferred and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required every 2 years. License to practice in Texas.Position summary:The Medical Processing Manager for the Center for Polar Medical Operations (CPMO) is responsible for the oversight of the medical screening process for the Arctic & Antarctic Medical Programs and ensures that clinical care is provided in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
