This is a VOLUNTEER opportunity Intrepid Hospice has opportunities with flexible and customized hours for the volunteer. You make your volunteering plan. All college students can use these volunteer hours on their resumes and help with recommendation letters in the future. All of our opportunities provide support to hospice patients and their caregivers. Volunteering can be direct patient care and OR office duties. There are a few unique opportunities where you could even volunteer from home. Visiting patients Reading to or with patients Taking walks writing letters or journaling Music or pet therapy Prove respite and support for loved ones and caregivers Administrative support Office support including filing, faxes, emails, and mailings Providing companionship for patients and their loved ones
