THE ABM ENTERPRISE SERVICE CENTER IS A FAST-PACED, TRANSACTION PROCESSING UNIT FOR THE ABM GROUP OF COMPANIES. THIS POSITION APPLIES CUSTOMER PAYMENTS AND HELPS REGION ACCOUNTING CENTERS ANALYZE AND CORRECT CUSTOMER ACCOUNT BALANCES. APPLICANTS FOR THIS POSITION MUST HAVE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS. Essential Duties • Applies daily cash receipts received via lockboxes by executing auto-posting jobs, followed by research and manual applications as necessary • Applies daily cash received via credit card and electronic media • Processes AR sub ledger adjustments requested by Region Accounting Centers (e.g. write-offs, misapplications, reclassifications) • Partners with Collections and Branch Accounting: o Receives and researches inquiries about customer account balances o Resolves cash application problems o Responds to requests for copies of cash receipts and reports o Coordinates cash applications cut-offs during month-end accounting close o Provides process ability and acts
