We are looking for a passionate copy editor or journalist with a knack for developing creative headlines, an eye for detailed copy editing, and a curiosity for innovative news – and if you have a passion for writing, even better Assignments include: Gathering and assigning industry-specific news to a team of writers Writing compelling headlines and brief article descriptions Tagging, editing and publishing 8-10 news articles each day Coordinating press releases, article ideas and interview requests with industry and PR organizations Assisting in on-going content strategy development Maintaining and managing relationships with writers to send content ideas, respond to questions, and provide feedback on articles Assisting with news summaries for social media as needed Developing creative subject lines, compiling content and distributing 2 daily
