Shipper/Painter - (Waukesha, WI)

This position is hiring for third shift. POSITION OVERVIEW Prepares and processes shipping, and performs various assembly and dismantling operations. Painter: Must develop skills through training and demonstrate proficiency in the following 4 (4) work center areas: Transformer Disassembly, PDS Disassembly, Prep for Paint, Paint/Name Plates. S/he may be asked to train other associates. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ? Receive assignments and instructions from supervisor-verbal and written-following established manufacturing procedures. ? Dismantle transformer for shipment (arrestors, radiators, bushings, conservators, etc.). ? Drain oil, vacuum fill with dry air, nitrogen or oil as required and pressure test transformer tank. ? Package components and transformer details. ? Prepare railroad car and/or truck for loading transformer unit and components. ? Perform minor miscellaneous welding and burning functions as required. ? Clean tank prior to final paint. ?
