Campus Safety Officer - (Ashland, VA)

CAMPUS SAFETY OFFICER Part time Randolph-Macon College seeks a part time Campus Safety Officer to be a part of our Campus Safety team. The Campus Safety Officer serves and protects the community and property of the college, responds to and documents reports of incidents and requests for service. The officer is responsible for promoting positive community relations in the performance of his or her job assignments. Officers patrol the campus on foot, bicycle and vehicle. The job necessitates extensive walking, stair climbing and other physical activities. High-school certificate or GED, computer knowledge and aptitude, and good communication expertise required. DCJS Training and Certification required within 180 days and is provided by the college. The expertise to pass experience check is required. Shifts are based on an alternating two-week schedule as follows: Week One: Tuesday and Wednesday, 8pm – 12am. Week Two: Thursday 8pm – 4am, Friday, 8pm – 8am, Saturday, 8pm – 8am.
