Assures that residents are prepared and served the diet prescribed by their physicians and according to quality food standards and the NCDA diet manual. Must keep accurate inventory of food products and supplies, including on (1) week emergency supply. Is responsible for remaining within budget (both food products and staffing); reports status to the Administrator. Is responsible for orientation of new dietary employees and participates in the orientation of all facility staff. Attends facility in-service education; helps conduct training related to dietary issues. Maintains company cleaning schedules.
