Housekeeping Floor Technician - (Ferrum, VA)

Ferrum College Housekeeping Floor Technician Ferrum College has an immediate opening in our Housekeeping Department. We are looking for a reliable, conscientious individual to perform floor cleaning duties in residential halls, office/classroom buildings, other buildings, and occasionally outside. This involves cleaning using specialized chemicals and equipment, including motorized cleaning equipment. Individual to extract/clean carpet and strip/shower scrub tile floors, also must be able to clean windows. Individual will work in a variety of environments, both inside and outside. Must be able to occasionally lift & carry up to 75 lbs and be capable of a full range of body motions including reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, and walking. This is a full-time, 40-hour week position with occasional weekend and overtime work. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Driver's license and good driving history required. Experience investigation required.
