HR Business Partner - (Wyoming, MI)

Job DescriptionMAJOR FUNCTION:This position is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management. This position carries out responsibilities in employee benefits, employee relations, training, on-boarding, policy implementation and recruitment/employment including employment law compliance.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals and are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory qualifications and laws.Effectively communicate Human Resources info to employees. Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures. Handles employee relations, EAP counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.Ensures policies and procedures are applied fairly and consistently by front-line supervisors and managers.
