Human Resources Manager - (Cedar Rapids, IA)

Scope of Position: Performs a wide variety of daily Human Resources tasks, as well as works with employees and management. Responsible for all paperwork relating to Human Resources and employment, perform specific Accounts Payable tasks, assist with other areas of production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Work together with Manufacturing Manager on all Union related issues, personnel, and company related activities Manage and process company recruitment by processing personnel requisitions, recruiting, interviewing, follow-up, testing and hiring. Completes new hire paperwork including I-9 forms and all benefits. Process payroll for factory and office personnel on a weekly basis. Record and ensure hours are accurate, update related schedules, track lost time from FMLA/STD, process FMLA and STD paperwork Organizes and participates in a variety of special company sponsored programs and activities including wellness events, and other employee programs and functions.
