Serves as a Campus Security Authority as defined by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). Responsible for law enforcement duties for the protection, safety and welfare of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and all property under the control and jurisdiction of The University of Texas System, including primary law enforcement jurisdiction in all counties where the UT System has real property interest and general law enforcement jurisdiction in all other Texas counties.
