Distribution Manager - (New York, NY)

Position SummaryThe distribution manager will manage the day-to-day distribution of instruments to all clinics at the Dental Center and a variety of programs. Serve as a liaison between Central Sterilization, Materials Management and the clinics. Supervise transport staff on instrument distribution and ensure Central Sterilization Staff adhere to quality control and regulatory protocols. Ensure that all biologicals and spore testing are complete in a timely manner prior to the 1st clinic sessions every day.Experience required Education: Bachelor’s degree Necessary background: Min three years’ relevant background in a sterile processing, operating room or similar setting, including supervisory background, acquired knowledge of instrument distribution and medical/surgical supplies and equipment or an equivalent combination of education and background. Preferred Background: Background at a large dental facility.
